They stay pretty close to each other during the day but roam all over. If one realizes she's too far away from the others she will make all sorts of noise and run back to the crowd!!

Once they're let out in the afternoon they go straight to pecking and scratching the ground which they spend all day long doing.

we want chickens too!!! steve works with a guy who sells his chickens eggs for $3.oo a dozen we get them as often as we can they are so much better than store bought eggs! maybe seth can build us a coop too! :-)
